I Am Selling My Motorcycle
By MMP on Aug 28, 2008 in Motorcycles
For years I have gotten great enjoyment in riding my red Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. It has been a very reliable (no, they don’t drip oil all over the garage floor any more) and economical form of transportation. Plus it has been a ton of fun, and I feel really cool when I am on it.
Unfortunately, a little over a month ago, a little blue haired old lady was not paying close enough attention to what she was doing, and I ended up getting hurt pretty bad. It’s the old classic you always hear about: she was looking right, and turning left. She pulled out right in front of me, and there wasn’t a darn thing I could do except scream like a little girl as I smashed into her.
So I have started the process. I have the bike for sale on a few online sites as well as that trader magazine thing. I even went to the trouble to find a notary, specifically a California notary to notarize the title so when I find a buyer I will be good to go. Fortunately I was able to find a mobile notary since I am still way to banged up to go to one. The bike is supposed to be done getting fixed this week, so I want to have all my ducks in a row when I get it back.
