Buying Cars in Texas

I’m in the market for a new or at least new to me car. I’ve been looking around at a few car dealers in Fort Worth and the selection is a little mind boggling. I’ve finally narrowed my search down to a crossover, but even still, there are a lot to choose from. I’ve come to the conclusion that Ford is probably going to give me the most bang for my buck, but I really wouldn’t mind a Japanese car just for the reliability. With the mess the auto industry is in right now I’m kind of surprised they aren’t practically giving cars away yet. I guess fifteen grand is about as good as it gets for a new car.
Used cars on the other hand seem more to my liking, as far as the price range goes. However, used cars in Fort Worth seem to be flying off the lots! I’ve been to a few different used car dealers here and their inventory seems to be dwindled. I’m not too sure if that comes from them selling so fast or if people aren’t trading their cars in as often. It might be a combo of both.
In any event, it doesn’t look like my search for a new car is nearly over. I still haven’t looked at any used cars in Weatherford so hopefully their selection is a bit better. Well, good luck to me and to the lucky dealer that nails the sale!
